Cookie Policy

Effective date: 20 July 2026
Last updated: 20 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Salt Learning and Development, publicly referred to as Salt Learning & Development (“Salt”, “we”, “our” or “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on:

www.saltlnd.com

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files stored on a visitor’s browser or device when they access a website.

They can help a website operate securely, maintain a visitor’s session, remember necessary settings and provide core website functionality.

Some cookies remain only for the duration of a browser session. Others may remain on the device for a specified period or until they are deleted.

2. Cookies Currently Used on This Website

The Salt Learning & Development website is hosted on Wix.

The website currently uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for purposes such as:

  • website security;

  • fraud and attack detection;

  • session management;

  • page rendering;

  • network stability;

  • form operation;

  • maintaining core website functions; and

  • protecting website infrastructure.

These cookies are required for the website to operate safely and reliably.

They are not used by Salt to create advertising profiles or display personalised advertisements.

3. Analytics and Marketing Cookies

Salt does not currently intend to use cookies for:

  • personalised advertising;

  • remarketing;

  • behavioural advertising;

  • Meta or Facebook Pixel tracking;

  • Google Ads conversion tracking;

  • Hotjar or similar behavioural recording;

  • cross-site advertising profiles; or

  • other optional marketing-tracking purposes.

Salt also does not currently intend to use separately installed third-party analytics cookies such as Google Analytics.

Wix may process limited technical and operational information required to maintain the security, stability, performance and effectiveness of its platform.

4. Why We Do Not Currently Display a Cookie Banner

The website is presently configured on the basis that it uses only cookies and technologies required for its security, operation and core functionality.

For this reason, Salt does not currently display a separate cookie-consent banner.

If we introduce optional analytics, advertising, marketing, personalisation or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will review our consent arrangements before activating those technologies and update this Cookie Policy accordingly.

5. Wix Platform Cookies

Wix may place essential cookies or similar technologies to:

  • protect the website against fraud and malicious activity;

  • maintain secure sessions;

  • support website stability;

  • render website pages;

  • operate forms and website features;

  • detect errors or technical problems; and

  • maintain the effectiveness of the platform.

The names, functions and duration of Wix cookies may change as Wix updates its platform.

Further information about cookies used by Wix is available through Wix’s own privacy and cookie documentation.

6. Forms and Enquiries

When a visitor submits a website enquiry form, essential cookies or technical session information may be used to:

  • operate the form;

  • protect against spam or misuse;

  • transmit the enquiry;

  • confirm successful submission; and

  • maintain website security.

Personal information submitted through a form is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe the visitor to advertising or promotional tracking.

7. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to external platforms such as:

  • LinkedIn;

  • Instagram;

  • YouTube;

  • WhatsApp;

  • Google services; or

  • other third-party websites.

A third party may place cookies after a visitor leaves the Salt website and opens or interacts with that external platform.

Those cookies are controlled by the relevant third party and are governed by its own privacy and cookie policies.

Salt does not control cookies placed directly by external websites after a visitor follows an external link.

8. Embedded Third-Party Content

Some website pages may contain embedded videos, maps, social-media content or other external features.

Embedded third-party content may use cookies or collect technical information when it is loaded or used.

Where possible, Salt will limit unnecessary third-party tracking and will review the privacy implications of new embedded services before adding them to the website.

Where an embedded service introduces non-essential tracking, Salt will review whether visitor consent or another control is required.

9. Managing Cookies Through Your Browser

Most browsers allow visitors to:

  • view stored cookies;

  • delete individual cookies;

  • delete all cookies;

  • block cookies from selected websites;

  • block third-party cookies;

  • prevent cookies from being stored; or

  • receive a notification before a cookie is placed.

The steps vary depending on the browser and device.

Visitors should refer to the privacy or cookie settings in their browser for instructions.

Blocking all cookies may affect the operation of:

  • website forms;

  • page navigation;

  • security features;

  • saved settings;

  • embedded content; and

  • other core website functions.

10. Cookie Duration

Cookies may be either:

Session Cookies

These usually remain active only while the browser session is open and are normally removed after the browser is closed.

Persistent Cookies

These remain on the visitor’s device for a defined period or until they are deleted manually.

The duration of an essential cookie depends on its operational purpose and the settings applied by Wix or the relevant website service.

11. Personal Information and Cookies

Some technical information connected with cookies may qualify as personal information under applicable privacy law.

This may include information such as:

  • an IP address;

  • a browser or device identifier;

  • session information;

  • website security information; or

  • technical interaction data.

Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. International Processing

Wix and other website-infrastructure providers may operate systems and servers in more than one country.

Technical or cookie-related information may therefore be processed outside India or outside the country from which a visitor accesses the website.

Further information about international processing is included in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we:

  • change website functionality;

  • add or remove Wix applications;

  • add third-party integrations;

  • introduce analytics or advertising services;

  • change our data-handling practices;

  • add embedded content; or

  • respond to changes in applicable law.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

If optional cookies or tracking technologies are introduced, we will also review whether a cookie-consent banner or another preference mechanism should be activated.
